Past Due Extensions
We offer a 10-day extension to customers who agree to pay their past-due balance (excluding storm drain charges) 10 days after the pay-by date on their bill. Customers must call to make arrangements, (843) 727-6800.

We offer leak adjustments on the sewer charges for leaks that qualify. Qualifying leaks are those in which water did not go into the sewer system. Toilet leaks do not qualify. Proof of repair is required. A customer is eligible for one leak adjustment every three years. Request a leak adjustment.
City of Charleston Stormwater Homestead Exemption Policy
If you meet the conditions established by the City, the $11 per month stormwater fee that appears on City resident's bill may be eliminated.
