SSO Update (12/26/19):
Recent extreme rains caused five minor sewer overflows in various parts of West Ashley through Tuesday of this week.
Thankfully, our new West Ashley Sewer Tunnel is now online, so the neighborhoods surrounding the low points of our wastewater collection system that typically were the first to experience sewer overflows (Byrnes Downs, Old Windermere, and South Windermere) did not have any overflows!
*We did not have any sewer overflows on James Island.
